3.1 Game times
During a match, each game will be separated by a 5-minute break. The official start time of each subsequent game is set to five (5) minutes after the end of the previous game.3.2 Rescheduling
Changing a match time is only possible under exceptional circumstances, and has to be confirmed by the match Coordinators. In the case of a technical issue on our end, the problem will have to be resolved in the subsequent 30 minutes; if not resolved after this period, the match will be postponed to a later date agreed upon by both teams, as well as the Coordinator.A match cannot be rescheduled because of a participant's late arrival or unavailability. If a Substitute is not available to replace the missing participant during the match setup phase (prior to the match's official start time), the team will be disqualified for non-attendance.3.3 Punctuality
We recommend that teams be online 30 minutes prior to the official start time to provide ample time to enter the custom game lobby and get ready. 5 members from the team's lineup must be in the lobby at the stated time. Fewer than five members will not constitute a valid team.If a valid team is not in the lobby 15 minutes after the match's start time, the team Captain must contact the Coordinator via Skype or WeChat so that the Coordinator can enter the game and confirm that the team has failed to show. The match cannot start until all Team Members are ready. If one member is still missing after fifteen (15) minutes, the team will be forced to forfeit.3.4 Ending
A game is finished when the base is destroyed, when one of the teams surrenders, or when the Coordinators decide it is over.A game can be interrupted before its rightful end if rules are violated by any of the participants. A rule violation section is available below for more details.
4. RULE VIOLATIONS & PUNISHMENT
Cheating or hacking is defined as any exploit that is beyond what is considered an intended game mechanic. Any cheating or hacking will automatically disqualify the team for the rest of the tournament. If such an event occurs unnoticed by the match Coordinators, screenshots or a replay should be provided to the organizers as proof.Breaking the rules or ignoring the orders of a Coordinator may result in punishment for a whole team or a specific player. The type and amount is chosen by the Coordinator. All of the following may result in disqualification upon the Coordinator's discretion:
- Any team accused of and proven to have used any hacks, cheats, etc.
- Any team displaying poor sportsmanship.
- Use of a player not on your provided team lineup.
- Players using an in-game name on the original roster with a different player playing on the account (a.k.a. account sharing).
- Intentionally feeding/throwing the game for the purpose of allowing the other team to win.
- Making use of any bugs, bots, etc.
- The Coordinator has discretion over any matters not covered here.
- If disqualified, a team forfeits its right to any prizes.
- If any other infraction, for which disqualification is considered too harsh, occurs, the Coordinator will follow the Escalation path at their discretion: Warning – Game loss – Match loss (disqualification).
5. TECHNICAL ISSUES (Disconnection/Lag/Desynchronization)
In the event that a player disconnects from the game, the match will continue with the team at a disadvantage, and the result of the game will count. One exception: If a disconnect occurs prior to the game's 5th minute of play, AND if the score is still at 0-0 with all towers up for both teams, then the match may be restarted with the exact same Heroes and players on both teams. In the event of a desynchronized game, the match will be restarted with the same players and same Heroes for both teams. Proof of desynchronization must be provided to the Coordinators. There is only one restart request allowed per team, per match.

Vainglory Market

HOW TO GET HEROES, SKINS AND CARDS IN VAINGLORY
If you want to buy heroes, skins or cards for Vainglory then head over to the in-game Market! Whether you shop the Market on iOS or on Android, your purchases are shared across all devices as long as you use the same Vainglory account.
ICE
ICE is the premium currency in Vainglory and can be used to acquire heroes, skins and cards. You purchase ICE for real money. When you purchase ICE in Vainglory, the game will use the method of payment you have on file with Apple for iTunes and with Google for Google Play.
For more information on in-app purchases through iTunes, see Apple’s iTunes Store: About In-App Purchases support article or Google’s Buy in-app items support article.
GLORY
Glory is the free currency in Vainglory and can also be used to acquire heroes, skins and cards. You earn for free Glory by playing the game.
You can earn more Glory with good behaviour, which is reflected by your Karma score. Karma is gained whenever you complete games and is lost whenever you abandon them. Each Karma level increases Glory earnings from regular games. You can check your Karma score on your player profile.
You can also earn extra Glory every day by completing the daily achievements. There are three daily achievements, each rewarding you with increased amounts of Glory. Complete the “First Win of the Day”, “Third Win of the Day” and the “Sinister Seven” daily achievements for bonus Glory. You can find more info about the requirements, rewards and your progression on the achievements on your player profile.
CARD PACKS AND BOXES
Another great way of collecting cards is by getting Card Packs from Boxes! You can find the Boxes in the GET CARDS section on the MARKET.
The number of the cards that are available in a Box is limited as each Box on the market contains a finite number of cards. By spending the free Glory or the premium ICE on a Box you pull a Card Pack from the Box. Each Card Pack contains 4 cards as a reward. The cards for the Card Pack are drawn on a random basis from the Box. Each time a Card Pack is pulled from the Box the likelihood of getting a specific card increases as the number of remaining cards decreases.
PEEK IN BOX
Before you spend your hard earned Glory and valuable ICE you may want to take a peek inside the Box! To help you make sure you can go after the cards you’re looking for we allow you to take a look inside and check out the contents of the Box. You can see all the cards you have drawn from the Box so far and which cards are still remaining inside.
GLORY BOXES
These are the Boxes that use Glory as a currency to get Card Packs. In the Glory Boxes you can find Common cards as well as a combination of Rare, Epic and/or Legendary cards. Tip: use the Peek in Box option to inspect the content of the Box.
ICE BOXES
Acquiring cards from the ICE Boxes uses the premium in-game ICE currency. The likelihood for acquiring high rarity cards is increased since the card content of the ICE Boxes exclude Common cards and only contains Rare, Epic and Legendary cards! Tip: use the Peek in Box option to inspect the content of the Box.
BOX EXPIRATION
Boxes are only available for a limited amount of time and each Box may be on a different timer. Each Box in the Market shows the remaining time for that Box. Once the timer expires the Box is removed from the game and you will lose the progress you made on the Box. If you were after a specific set of cards you may want to make sure you get them from the Box before it’s gone! Once a Box is removed from the game it will be replaced by a new, different Box with a new unique set of cards.
BOX REFILL
If you’re making great progress on your card collections and you happen to draw all the cards from a Box before it expires, then the Box is refilled with the same set of cards again. You can then continue to draw more cards from the Box and Weave more skins!
SKINS, CARDS AND WEAVING
You can weave skins for your heroes to change their appearance in the game. Weaving is a great way to unlock a unique look to your favorite heroes and distinguish yourself from other players!
To weave skins for your heroes you will need to collect all the required cards. You can find all the different skins and the card collection requirements for weaving the skins in the GET SKINS section in the MARKET. If you have collected all the required cards you can also Weave them from there.
Alternatively, you can also buy Tier 1 skins directly using ICE. However, all Tier 2 and Tier 3 skins are exclusive and can only be acquired by collecting all required cards. In addition to collecting all cards needed to Weave the new skin, you will also need to have unlocked the previous skin tier for the theme you are weaving for. For example, to unlock an Epic tier 2 skin you will also need to have unlocked the Rare Tier 1 skin as an additional requirement.
Please note that while you can unlock skins for heroes you don’t own, you will still need to unlock the base character to play with that skin and hero. You can unlock the base hero using ICE or Glory.
There are different ways to collect cards. You can earn them for free through playing the game. After every match there is a chance for a card drop. And as you keep playing matches the chances for Rare, Epic and Legendary card drops increase!

Mobile MOBA
MOBA Definition
Multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA), also known as action real-time strategy (ARTS), is a subgenre of strategy video games that originated as a subgenre of real-time strategy, in which a player controls a single character in a team who compete versus another team of players.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Multiplayer_online_battle_arena
MOBA for Android
MOBAs are a relatively newer gaming genre on mobile. For those who don’t know, MOBA stands for Mobile Online Battle Arena. They came from a huge following on PC which includes the likes of League of Legends and DOTA 2. The genre is so popular that many sites cover it like a sport and teams can compete for actual cash prizes. The MOBA market on Android isn’t big, but there are a few decent titles to choose from. Here are the best MOBAs for Android!
Ace of Arenas
Ace of Arenas is a fairly run-of-the-mill MOBA. That makes it great for beginners new to the genre. It boasts a large player base. However, it can still take some time to get into a match. We're not sure why. You can also play as many games as you want without having to buy anything. We liked that a lot. It features decent graphics as well as a unique control scheme where you employ both tapping and swiping to use abilities and attack. Like most MOBAs, the point is to destroy the other team’s Core in order to win the game. It's a solid overall experience.Battle Bay
This is one of the casual MOBAs. However, it's not quite as casual as something like Titan Brawl. It features various vehicles (in place of heroes), weapons, armor, abilities, items, etc. There is also a mechanic to make guilds. Matches consist of five vs five and they don't last very long. It's definitely a good MOBA for beginners, but there's enough there for some hardcore players too.Call of Champions
Call of Champions is another popular MOBA. It has a lot of things going for it. The biggest feature is the short game lengths. Most games are over inside of five minutes. That gives it that built for mobile feeling where you’re not committing 30 minutes of your life to each match. It also includes eSports features such as Spectator Mode. You can just watch matches that way if you want to. Perhaps its best feature is that games don’t end if other players quit. The game replaces them with AI. The match just keeps going from there.Heroes Evolved
Heroes Evolved is a fairly popular MOBA. It also has some of the most unique features. The basic experience is pretty good, too. It features over 40 heroes, a clan system, short match options, and more. It also includes a Chaotic Strike game mode. You have no mana to manage and faster cooldowns. It's actually quite fun. There aren't a ton of MOBAs like this one. It might even be good for eSports someday.Heroes of Order and Chaos
Heroes of Order and Chaos is one of the newer MOBAs. It's also surprisingly good considering it's a Gameloft game. It has a massive collection of 57 playable heroes. In addition, it includes no energy system. That means you can play as often as you want. Other features include three vs three and vs five matches, upgradeable heroes, a Fun Mode, and even features for eSports commentary. There really isn't a lot to complain about with this one. It's a rock solid MOBA.Iron League
Iron League is one of the newer MOBAs. It doesn't have a ton of players yet. There is a lot of potential, though. It features three vs three combat with ten minute maximum match lengths. In addition, the game includes 30 characters, simple controls, and various game modes. The developers are still working with some bug fixes and performance improvements. We recommend keeping this one on your radar, though.Mobile Legends: Bang Bang
Mobile Legends: Bang Bang is one of the oldest MOBAs on mobile. In terms of sheer download numbers, it's also the most popular. The game features five vs five battles, simple controls, ten minute match lengths, and more. The Google Play description boasts ten second matchmaking wait times. That's a bit exaggerated. Everything else is top notch, though. Players who are disconnected can rejoin the same battle. We thought that was kind of cool. It's definitely right up there among the best MOBAs.Planet of Heroes
Planet of Heroes is an up-and-coming MOBA. In terms of features, it's fairly decent. The game includes three difficulty modes for AI combat, RPG elements, three vs three combat, and seven minute match lengths. It's probably not good enough for eSports. It leans a bit too casual for that. However, there is a lot of potential for it to become that hardcore. You can play as often as you want and the developers boast as fair of an experience as any. It's also one of the few MOBAs with a single-player campaign mode.Titan Brawl
Titan Brawl is one of the simpler MOBAs. That makes it great for beginners to the genre. The game's biggest feature is the match length. Most matches are over in three minutes or less. That makes it an excellent bridge between MOBA and casual gaming. However, it does lean more toward casual. You don't have the large maps, complicated drops and objectives, etc of larger, more hardcore MOBAs.
Vainglory
Vainglory exploded on to the mobile scene in 2015 and it's easily among the most popular mobile MOBAs. It boasts a roster of over 25 heroes. That's a fairly decent selection. Matches can be set for seven minutes for quick plays. There is also an option for 25 minute matches for all-day slugfests. In terms of mechanics and game play, Vainglory boasts 60fps game play and 30ms control responsiveness. That caters to the hardcore MOBA fans quite well. It’s one of the most popular MOBAs on Android for a reason. Its popularity also makes match wait times pretty low.from: https://www.androidauthority.com/best-mobas-android-708927/
Mobile eSports
While games like League of Legends and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive rule the esports airwaves, mobile games like Vainglory and Clash Royale are slowly becoming ingrained in the esports scene.

IAP DLC Add-on
In-app purchases
Instead of having people pay for your game up front, you can offer a free game with in-app purchases (IAPs.) In this case the game can be acquired without spending a dime — give the game to the players, but offer in-game currency, bonuses or benefits for real money. Specific examples can include bonus levels, better weapons or spells, or refilling the energy needed to play. Designing a good IAP system is an art of it's own.
Remember that you need thousands of downloads of your game to make IAPs effective — only a small fraction of players will actually pay for IAPs. How small? It varies, but around one person in every thousand is about average. The more people that play your game, the higher the chance someone will pay, so your earnings heavily depend on your promotionactivities.
Freemium
Games that feature IAPs are often referred to a freemium — a freemium game can be acquired and played for free, but you can pay for extra (premium) features, virtual goods or other benefits. The word itself acquired negative connotations after big companies focused on creating games, the main purpose of which was to get as much money from the players as possible instead of delivering a fun experience. The worst cases were when you could use real money to pay for getting advantages over other players, or when they restricted access to the next stages of the game unless the players paid. The term "pay to win" was coined and this approach is disliked by many players and devs. If you want to implement IAPs try to add value to the game with something players will enjoy instead of taking it out and then charging for it.
Add-ons and DLCs
Add-ons and downloadable content are a good way to provide extra value to an already released game, but remember that you'll have to offer decent, entertaining content to attract people to buy it. A totally new set of levels with new characters, weapons and story is a good material for DLC, but to have enough sales the game itself has to be popular, or else there won't be any players interested in spending their hard earned money on it.
Fremium Model in HTML5 Games
Please excuse me for using "GOLD" phrase - GOLD means "virtual currency"/IAP (i paste my post from other forum here - sorry).
Why?
Business model based on advertisements is unpredictable. Most of clicks are accidental and don’t depend on game construction. With freemium you gain full control over your incomes. The better the game is designed - the more money it will make!
How?
There are several concepts of going freemium!

- Levels/Demo
The most common way of limiting is to offer demo version with few levels for start and full game for GOLD. - Plays per day
One of the Gamefilled’s games - TANK5 - offers unlimited plays for GOLD and 10 plays per day for free. There are several subscription plans. This model works like “premium” account. - Time per day
“Want to play more than 30 minutes per day? No problem, just pay some GOLD for it”
- Lifes per day
Common in mach3 games. Player can play a game until some limit of unsuccessful plays is reached. Limit can be reset by GOLD or waiting some time.
Progress saving
Player can play a game without any limits. However, each time player’s avatar is “killed” game starts from the very beginning. If player wants to start from the last position some GOLD must be paid.
Incomes
You can multiply player’s incomes (points, xp, …) with “premium” account, which is available as subscription for GOLD.
